The title hybrid journey between dimensions refers to the concept of the now expanded world of human presence, in which, next to the real dimension, there is a virtual dimension. These two spaces complement each other and enter into correlations, creating a hybrid world that is constantly being constructed, improved and transformed. The aim of the article is to show the hybrid forms of modern human mobility which are both technological and cultural innovation and as such have not received a thorough analysis. The present scope of human mobility has grown significantly. It no longer takes place either in the real or the virtual realm but also between these dimensions. Differing with respect to speed, intensity, rhythm and pace, the processes taking place in the hybrid world provide the basis for the emergence of new forms of mobility with an unprecedented structure, roles, functions or intensity. The current state of research focuses on changes in social mobility, mainly in its classical dimension and, more and more often, virtual dimension, without analyzing their synergetic forms appearing in all spheres of life and constituting the subject of both positive and critical comments. Based on the analysis of literature, descriptions of new technological and social practices in advanced societies of media civilization, the article has been divided into two main parts. The first part describes transformations in the very space of human presence and implications of these modifications. The second one is a reflection on the features of contemporary wandering in the hybrid world.
