This article explores the intricate relationship between current environmental factors and the emergence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) as a burgeoning global health challenge. NCDs, such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, and respiratory disorders, have reached epidemic proportions, significantly impacting global health and economies. Environmental factors, including air and water quality, climate change, urbanization, and industrialization, play a pivotal role in the etiology and exacerbation of NCDs. The article examines current research, epidemiological trends, and policy implications, shedding light on the complex interplay between the environment and NCDs.
