CURRENT TRENDS OF THE ECOLOGICAL-FOCUSED INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT IN THE SPHERE OF SEWAGE TREATMENT BY THE HOUSING AND PUBLIC UTILITIES ENTERPRISES IN RUSSIA AND ABROAD

Abstract

The article deals with the up-to-date methods of sewage treatment as its quality determines both the state of the environment and the health level of the inhabitants of the certain territory. We describe such methods of water cleaning applied in Russia and abroad as ASP (the Activated Sludge Process), centrifugation, sorption, flotation, ultraviolet treatment, ozonation, micro- and nano filtration. Besides some ways of recycling of the dried waste of the sewage treatment plants, touching upon the item of the economic efficiency of the quality water cleaning are analyzed.
