A rare case of congenital corneal anesthesia

Abstract

A 12-year-old male, who had a history of trauma in his right eye at 2 years of age, presented to the clinic with diminution of vision and whitish discoloration in his right eye. Detailed history and clinical examination confirmed findings of congenital corneal anesthesia due to hereditary sensory autonomic neuropathy type 4, a rare genetic disorder.
