Coordinate del soggetto nello spazio testuale: campo letterario e letteratura minore nella poesia transatlantica
Abstract
Recent Spanish-language poetry lies somewhere between the frontiers drawn by the critics of the 1980s and the limitless place drawn on the horizon of the 21st century. This image of permanence without place does not prevent us from identifying common characteristics in the poetics that converge in the deterritorialised and post-national use of the Spanish language and that are based on the paradigm of the “transatlantic Hispanisms” proposed by Julio Ortega, among others. The aim of this work is to present a series of current poetic scenarios in Spanish that dialogue between the two sides of the Atlantic, oscillating at the same time between the claims of the local and the increasingly inevitable servitudes of the global. They are at the same time ‘minor’ poetic imaginaries, in Deleuze and Guattari’s terms, that communicate through confluences and reflect multicultural societies where different poetic subjectivities dissolve into nomadic voices, fractals, avatars that want to reach a ubiquitous reader. In this “transatlantic interactivity” of today’s poetry, the poet is both a craftsman and a critic, a voice that Googles himself eight times a day to find out where he has gone (Andrés Neuman), but above all the spokesperson for a single language that nevertheless does not allow him to know which city he is a native of or which foreigner. Belonging to a Hispanic poetic space with multiple shores, however, allows us to question entrenched and immobile identities and to abandon the paradigm of atonal criticism in order to create other conditions of recognition.
