ORIGINS OF RELIGIOUS ESTABLISHMENT OF RUSSIAN INTERACTION WITH CHINA
Abstract
The article is devoted to the topical in modern political-economic reality theme of the subject refer to the history and origins of the establishment of the relationship between Russia and China in the religious aspect. The article deals with the religious establishment of interaction between Russia and China at the end of XVIIth – beginning of XVIIIth centuries, through the dissemination of Orthodoxy in China and the activities of the Russian Orthodox Mission, in particular the first and second missions. The article details the consolidation of Orthodoxy in China, its official legalization, the life and work albazintsis as the first Orthodox, as well as the activities of the members of the first and second itself Orthodox missions, their content and the conditions of stay in China. Purpose – to analyze the process of establishing a religious interaction between Russia and China at the end of XVIIth – beginning of XVIIIth centuries, through the dissemination of Orthodoxy in China. Methodology. The basic of research is the comparative historical and problem-chronological methods. Results. In the course of the study it was found that the activities of the first and second Orthodox missions was aimed at the establishment of relations between Russia and China, including the expansion of trade and the establishment of favorable diplomatic relations, which was originally seen from the decree of Peter I. The development of education, language learning, exchange of cultural and religious values were an important component sold by members of the Russian Orthodox mission. Practical implications. The results of the study can be applied in the educational process and in further research work related to the study of the activities of the Russian Orthodox Mission in China.
