With the increasingly serious problems of global warming, environmental degradation, and energy resource shortage, reducing the energy consumption of buildings and realizing the sustainable development of buildings, vigorously developing green buildings has become a key concern in the field of architectural research. As a kind of clean and pollution-free renewable energy, solar energy has fully demonstrated its superiority and is receiving more and more attention. Reasonable use of solar energy can effectively save non-renewable energy, slow down the speed of global climate warming, and reduce environmental pollution. This article takes a kindergarten competition design as an example. Through thinking about green buildings and combining the use of renewable energy such as solar energy, this article explores how buildings can adapt to local conditions to improve the quality of buildings. Development provides reference and expects to promote low energy consumption, green, ecological and sustainable buildings.
