The article describes the main activities of the Scientific Research Centre of the History of Book Culture, RAS and the Ya. Kolas Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences in the study of book culture. It also presents the results of a joint research project «Book culture of Russia and Belarus. The comprehensive researches in the context of historical and cultural interaction».
