The Cornelia gens was a family of the Ebusitan oligarchy who performed acts of evergetism as the financing of the construction of an aqueduct. Contemporary archeology has recovered eight sites where remains of a Roman hydraulic canalization have appeared, which, together with the historical news collected in 1791, have allowed the reconstruction of 5,075 meters of an aqueduct that goes to the city. The aqueduct would consist of an underground canalization in most of its layout, although it would probably assume some monumentality next to the city.
