Principles of intracranial pressure monitoring

Abstract

This article devoted to the diagnosis of intracranial hypertensionin patients with intracranial hemorrhages. The persistentincrease of intracranial pressure leads to disruption of cerebralperfusion, brain edema and ischemia. In this regard, fast correctionof intracranial hypertension is one of the importanttasks of intensive care patients with intracranial hemorrhages.The paper details the modern principles of measuring intracranialpressure.
