The average annual potential of solar energy in Ukraine, in particular, in the Kharkov region, is analyzed. A scheme is chosen for autonomous power supply to illuminate a particular room. Calculations for the introduction of LED lighting are carried out. The system of autonomous power supply solar panel, consisting of 72 solar panels with a total capacity of 14.4 kW is calculated.
