Implementation of manhole cover detection system based on multi feature fusion
Abstract
Obstacle detection, as an important part of intelligent auxiliary driving, has received extensive attention. Among them, manhole cover detection plays an irreplaceable role in subsequent manhole cover location and defect detection. This paper starts from a macro perspective, and proposes a classification method of multi feature fusion. It sets trapezoidal region as the region of interest with prior knowledge, locks candidate region through the connectivity of edge, and extracts well cover position from the background through multi feature decision quickly and accurately. The method is implemented on the TMS320DM6437 platform, and the feasibility of the scheme is verified.
