Retour vers le passé : à propos d’un article paru en 1988 dans Les nouvelles de l’archéologie

Abstract

An article published in Les nouvelles de l’Archéologie in 1988 was considered, at the time, to be innovative in the field of « rescue archaeology ». It laid the foundations for a multidisciplinary (and interdisciplinary) approach that was still embryonic. Its re-reading invites us to think about the changes that have taken place at the heart of preventive archaeology and the place gradually taken by the so-called « related » scientific disciplines that have become essential to any archaeological approach.
