Nucleation of the Crack in a Composite, Reinforced Unidirectional Orthotropous Fibres at Longitudial Shear
Abstract
The problem of mechanics of fracture about interaction orthotropous elastic inclusions which surface is uniform is considered is covered by a homogeneous cylindrical film, and rectilinear of a bridged prefracture zones collinear to axes abscissa and ordinates in isotropic planes. The model of nucleation of cracks in composites with the periodic structure, based on consideration of a zone of process fracturing is offered. It is accepted, that the zone of process fracturing represents a layer of the finite length containing a material with in part broken bonds between separate structural elements. Presence of bonds between faces of a zone of prefracture (a zone of the weakened interpartial bonds of a material) is modelled by applying cohesive forces caused by bonds to a surface of prefracture zones. The analysis of the limit equilibrium in a composite, at which there is an occurrence of a crack, is carried out on the basis of criterion of critical shear of bonds of a material.
