O Centro Virtual de Documentação e Referência Oswaldo Goeldi e suas oficinas artísticas no Museu da República

Abstract

In 2005, during the exhibition to launch the Virtual Centre for Documentation and Reference Oswaldo Goeldi Museum in the Republic, students and teachers from local schools and State of Rio de Janeiro, met part of the extensive production of Oswaldo Goeldi, an artist who opened the path of wood engraving in Brazil. With the intent of bringing more students to the work of master engraver, and the tour of the exhibition, we offer an engraving shop and another of Tangram. So in this article we intend to present the dynamics of these activities, show some results obtained in the workshops and explain how the mediation took place among the works of Oswaldo Goeldi and students.
