This study aims to determine the conformity of the specifications of public schools’ buildings in the State of Kuwait with McCleary’s model. The study followed a descriptive analytical approach and applied Mcleary model as a tool of the study on a random sample of (54) schools. The study finds that the specifications of public school buildings were very inappropriate for educational specifications according to the scale of the Mcleary model. There are statistically significant differences between the arithmetic averages around the conformity of public school buildings specifications with educational specifications based on a Mcleary model according to gender variable in the fourth section (the nature of soil and water discharge) and the third section (green spaces, improvements and regulations) from the first item (location) and the differences were in favor of school for females. There were also statistically significant differences between the arithmetic averages according to the variable of the district, and they were in favor of the Hawalli and Al-Ahmadi district. In light of these results, the study came out with a number of recommendations and proposals. One of the most important recommendations is to adopt McCleary’s model by officials of the educational establishments sector in the Ministry of Education as a tool and measure to assess the suitability of public school buildings in the State of Kuwait for educational specifications.
