Abstract

In brief terms, the article deals with the relationship between the United States and Syria starting from the end of Cold War up to current days. Throughout this period, the relations are characterized by tension given the differences of both political regimes. However, because of the rising of the political radicalism, there is a possibility of an involuntary and temporary approximation.
