From the point of view of the tourist economy as well as the promotion of a healthy life style is very important to use the existing infrastructure in Poland sanatorium deployed in 47 laws spas and action towards the further development.The paper presents the results of primary research on the characteristics of quality tourism in the Polanczyk health resort in the Bieszczady mountains. In the research process diagnostic survey method was used in this technique questionnaire and direct interview. Special attention was paid to patients’ characteristics such as age, education level, employment unions and territorial origin, were also tested length of stay in a sanatorium, sources of financing to stay, preferences for services. Generally that stayed here mainly spa guests over 50 years old with secondary or higher education who is on the pensions, but it was also a relatively large group of unemployed (21.3%). Among the patients they were dominated by those who were in nursing homes than 7 days (68.3%).
