This study presents the fundamentals of a specialist system applied to the selection of real estate developments using as methodology the extraction of knowledge from specialists and a databank. We selected the most relevant parameters when choosing a real estate development and carried out a comprehensive typological study of Icaraí, Niterói/RJ
