Pengaruh Etsa Minyak Atsiri Sirih (fam. Piperaceae) Terhadap Kekuatan Tekan Hasil Reparasi Plat Resin Akrilik

Abstract

The research was conducted on 30 specimens of fractured heat cured acrylic resin plate. Two group specimens of 15 each underwent two deference methods of reparation. Group one were etched with 70% concentration of Piper betel L. (Fam. Piperaceae) atsiri oil on the junction before reparation process, meanwhile the second one were roughed on it. Universal Instron Testing Machine was used to measure transverse strength of the specimens. The results showed that there is a significant deference between them utilizing student t-test analysis (p<.05)
