[Objective] The existing operational mechanisms primarily rely on operational management systems that drive personnel to perform operational tasks. Operational staff communicate information through phones or intercom devices and issue operational control commands using their respective independent professional systems, there are only a few fixed linkages between systems. In this mode, operational management personnel bear heavy workload, hindering further improvement in operational control efficiency. Scenarios severely impacting safety in FAO (fully automatic operation), involving operations, passengers, and equipment facilities are explored. It is aimed to investigate the safety management-control mechanism and an intelligent control platform for FAO, enhancing the safety control level of FAO lines. [Method] Utilizing intelligent, digital, informational, and highly reliable technologies, static operational rules and work systems are transformed into dynamic interlinked and controlled methods for emergency response management-control measures. A platform serving stations, vehicles, and central dispatch is constructed to facilitate multi-post information sharing, collaborative response mechanism, and intelligent control, thereby improving the efficiency of fault emergency response and resolution. [Result & Conclusion] Practice on FAO lines in Shanghai demonstrates that establishing an intelligent management-control platform for operational safety, strengthening operational safety supervision, building collaborative response mechanisms for critical positions, and achieving system-driven efficient interlinked control of professional facilities and intelligent auxiliary decision-making functions can better guarantee and enhance the emergency response efficiency and operational safety control of FAO lines.
