Due to Covid-19, students continue their education with the distance education system in our country, as in many parts of the world. In this period when distance education has become a necessity, Eskişehir Osmangazi University redesigned the ESUZEM system for its students and made it available to students. With the desire to investigate students' views on distance education and this system, the question of what could affect students' satisfaction with distance education and ESUZEM design came to mind. In this context, while choosing the subject and method, many studies on distance education satisfaction were examined in the literature and it was aimed to fill the gaps in the literature by making some inferences. In order to create a structural equation model that examines students' satisfaction with the distance education system and ESUZEM design, it is aimed to conduct a 50-item survey to Eskişehir Osmangazi University Industrial Engineering Department students. First, the relevant factors were obtained by simplifying the survey data with exploratory factor analysis. According to the relevant literature review, hypotheses suitable for the purpose of the study were formed with these factors. The relationships between students' satisfaction with the distance education system and the factors affecting this satisfaction were examined by analyzing the structural equation model based on the hypotheses. As a result of this study, it was concluded that the design and technical competence of the ESUZEM system is the most important factor affecting student satisfaction. Therefore, this study has revealed that student satisfaction will increase significantly if the image and sound quality and technological infrastructure are improved.
