The authors describe the history and the therapeutic technique to tackle and control lumbar pain and radicular pain due to the presence of fibrotic tissue and/or adhesions.This technique, periduroscopy, has proved so far to be the only one able to provide both a diagnostic evaluation and a surgically utility. The effectiveness of this technique and the limitations that currently present the neuroplasty by Racz procedure are reported.
