Factors Affecting Values of Short-Circuit Current Levels in Electrical Power Engineering Systems
Abstract
Short-circuit current levels in power networks with various voltage class are characterized by probabilistic nature. They are discretely changeable, depend on a number of factors and have a significant importance while selecting electric equipment, a graph of power network development and voltage levels.Determination of the main factors affecting values of short-circuit currents permits to develop efficient methods with the purpose to limit their increase in power networks with various voltage class.
