The text aims to describe the protection of the consumer in electronic commerce, through the resolution of conflicts in PROCON UNIFAVIP-DEVRY. The objective is to identify, based on cases attended, in the months of 01/01/2017 to 10/30/2017, if the consumer rights, established in art. 6º C., as a guarantee life, health and safety, among others are being respected at the moment of service in PROCON, which is a body created by the State in order to protect the individual in an effective way. Such protection is due to the fact that the consumer is the weakest part of the consumer relationship, becoming vulnerable or hyposufficient vis-à-vis the supplier of products and services. Finally, the text deals with the development of electronic commerce, from its origins to the present day, which has emerged from the internet and computers, creating space as a new way of transaction in relation to traditional commerce, which is between consumer and supplier present.
