Social isolationprovokedmajorchangesin the daily routine of people. Hence, physical exerciseseems to be an alternativeto their various problems.Physical Education teacherscan provide counselling and monitoring, ensuring correct and safe practice of physical exercises even during lockdown. The purpose of this research studywas to monitorthe motor quality of forcethroughout thefour middle school years, which happened to include the Covid-19 pandemic. Our research samplewas represented by 47 studentsdivided into two groups, by gender: 26 girls(14.15 ± 0.36 years, 56.51 ± 11.66 kg, 163.2 ± 6.13 cm) and21 boys(14.18 ± 0.52 years, 63.3 ± 11.13kg, 170.8 ± 6.45 cm). We applied the following tests:push-ups; torso raises from dorsal decubitus; torso raises from facial decubitus, andstanding long jump. We interpreted the results using theAnovatest. Statistical calculations indicatea significant differencein push-ups(p=<0.0001). The other trials did not record great variations, given that the results remained at the same level. Considering the results obtained, it is worth noting thatthe Covid-19 pandemic, caused by SARS-Co-V-2,brought along a devastating threatfor human society in terms of health and a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, this period promotedphysical inactivity and sedentarinessamong middle school students.
