Mário Dionísio, a visual poet

Abstract

From the reading of Autobiografia, by Mario Dionísio, it is intended to reflect on his poetic activity, unjustly forgotten because of the relevance of his critical essays, and evidence how he dialogues with his time. The article also discusses the importance of his critical reflection on other artists, such as Jorge Amado, in the context of Portuguese-Brazilian literary relations.
