Determination of organic milk components is economic and simple method for evaluation of cow energy status. In this paper we describe evaluation of energy status of holstein-friesian cows in industrial type farm. We have examined total of 74 cows in the first lactation. Average concentrations of milk fat and urea were in physiological ranges (milk fat 37,72 ±3,77 g/1; urea 3,40±0,57 mmol/1), while average concentration of proteins was bellow it (30,36±2,33 g/1). Based on ratio of urea and proteins and ratio of milk fat and proteins in milk we concluded that most of examined cows were in energy deficiency, with deficiency or relative sufficient of proteins in ration.
