Abstract

We are starting to publish previously unpublished materials of the YAkutskaya prikaznaya izba (Yakutsk order hut), stored in the funds of the Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts (RGADA). Cursive - an ancient Russian script in the Cyrillic alphabet, used in office work in the 14th - 19th centuries. Due to the large number of abbreviations and specific lettering, these documents are difficult to read for unprepared readers. The transcription of the text was made by the Genealogical Agency "Litera Ru". The editors of the journal are grateful to them for this. Below is published in modern transcription the first document "Memory of the service man Kondraty Myasin ...". The document is not dated, but according to the RGADA, the approximate date of its creation is 1640. 1. The memory of the serviceman Kondraty Myasin with a presentation of the information he collected during his service on the Vitim River about the surrounding population: arable "fraternal" people (Buryats), the Kilon people, their culture, life and trade relations with China, about the extraction of silver on rivers Shilka and Nercha (1640).
