The Unpredictable Brexit

Abstract

Resignations of political heavyweights in Theresa May’s government in protest against the PM’s Chequers compromise on negotiations with the EU as well as the visit of US President D. Trump to the UK somewhat overshadowed the fighting in Westminster. The near deadlock in parliament could trigger the fall of government, a second UK EU referendum, a standstill in Brexit negotiations or a «fudge» Brexit. The outcome remains uncertain.
