The long discussion about the text of the Testimonium Flavianum has not entered the home stretch by a long shot. Critics are divided on the authenticity or not of this important proof regarding the origin of Christianity. In this brief work, after an historical and philological analysis, we suggest that a Christian interpolation contributed to the current text in the 2nd century. Particularly, the employment of φαίνω, in comparison with the verbs used in the Syriac and Arabic versions, and the verses of Mk 16: 9-11, that would have been inserted into the text, they would be a further evidence that the Testimonium was affected by a Christian interpolation in relation to the ‘manifestation’ of Jesus.
