Evaluative results of different rotations examinations of Medicine fifth year in Cienfuegos. 2015-2020

Foundation: Evaluation is the activity whose objective is assessing the teaching learning process of the students, mainly to orient and regulate teaching for achieving the aims of formation; this is why it is so important. Objective: To characterize the academic results of Medicine 5th year in the evaluative dimension of ordinary and extraordinary exams of different rotations. Methods: Research of pedagogical profile Developer in the academia year 2015-2016, at the Cienfuegos Medical University which included all the 5th year students of the Medical Major. For this the results of final exams of Urology, Ear-Nose and Throat, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Dermatology and Ophthalmology were collected systematically and monthnly. Results: a higher number of students who failed in ordinary and extraordinary examinations were found in the subjects: Urology, Ear-Nose and throat, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Dermatology and Ophthalmology. The subjects Urology, Ear-Nose and throat and Dermatology contributed the greater number of failed students. Conclusion: In the study the characteristics of the course referred to quantitative evaluation are approached, it is presented a first approximation to the main elements related to these results which were not satisfactory.
