In a child’s first years of life, the family system is the educational home for the child’s development and thus forms the child’s social and relational behavior. With this in mind, we need to take seriously the importance of parental education. Parents must understand the responsibility and influence they have in their child’s formation. Studies have shown that personalities are mostly formed in the familial environment, or, in other words, the home. The family functions as a regulator, socializer and moralizer for the child, and so has a great contribution in shaping a child’s personality and individuality.
