Cultural knowledge Management and its Role in Embodying the Cultural Diversity of the Egyptian Heritage in National Housing Projects “Hayah Kareema”

Abstract

The interest in the Egyptian material cultural heritage as one of the components of the visual identity and its historical expressions is one of the general goals of the Egyptian state, especially in light of the methods of globalization followed and the means of progress and development in all fields, especially the field of design, and in the current era of globalization we find a lot of studies and research that warned of the negative effects of globalization, one of which is the obliteration of the distinctive cultural and artistic identity of each society. Especially with regard to the field of architecture and residential design. Through this study, we develop a vision through which we can call for the use of cultural knowledge management concepts to integrate the elements of the abundant cultural diversity of Egyptian society that express its identity and express it through modern design methods
