Figurations of reader and the reading in ¿Inocentes o culpables?: Antonio Argerich and the debates about the naturalism in Argentina
Abstract
From the study of a dissertation about the naturalism that Antonio Argerich reads, in 1882, in the context of a literary evening, and of his novel ¿Inocentes o culpables?, the following paper analyzes the ways in which the author is introduced into the controversial aspects of naturalistic vein in Argentina postulating, in fictional or argumentative key, models of readers and readings that carry a programmatic look about literature, national novel, fiction reading and the central axles of this debate in particular.
