Revision of the genus Ocnera Fischer von Waldheim, 1822 (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae: Pimeliini) from China

Abstract

The genus Ocnera Fischer von Waldheim, 1822 of China is revised. A new species O. mevedevi sp. n. is described from Xinjiang (China). The subspecies O. sublaevigata przewalskyi Reitter, 1887 (sensu Löbl et al. [2008]) is raised to a species level, O. przewalskyi Reitter, 1887, stat. resurr. Key to species of the genus Ocnera is included. Figures of diagnostic characters and photographs of imago are provided.
