Athlete's affiliation to a Polish sports association

Abstract

The aim of the article is to describe the relation of the athlete's affiliation to a Polish sports association. It draws primarily attention to the concept and the legal nature of the sport licences, which are the "foundation" of the relationship. The relation of affiliation is shaped by the list of reciprocal rights and obligations of an athlete and a specific Polish sports association. The author also points to the relationship between relation of affiliation and membership in the national team and the employment relationship in a sports club as well.
