This article aims to analyze the way in which Rodolfo Walsh used the literary techniques of factography to write the series of articles entitled Who killed Rosendo?, published in Semanario CGT. Our approach adopts the ideas put forward by Hans-Robert Jauss in Literary History as A Challenge to Literary Theory as its theoretical framework. Thus, we understand cultural transfer as a specific form of active reception characterized by the appropriation, strategic use and redefinition of what is transferred. Our analysis intends to explore the strategic use of factographic techniques in this work, with the goal of establishing how the author appropriated them and with what purpose.
