Un modelo de mujer en la prensa del Trienio Liberal: análisis a través del Periódico de las Damas

Abstract

This article is intended to figure out the changes and continuities in the discourse on the role that women should play in society through the analysis of a newspaper focused on women, the Periódico de las Damas (1822). The purpose of this work is to analyze how the image of women was: how they established their relationships with men, how the preparation for marriage was, if motherhood was still paramount, which the elements that were required for their education were and how they should articulate their values. We want to analyze if a new concept of woman was starting to create.
