БІБЛІОТЕЧНА ДІЯЛЬНІСТЬ ОСТРОЗЬКОГО КИРИЛО-МЕФОДІЇВСЬКОГО ЦЕРКОВНОГО БРАТСТВА У 1865 –1929 рр.

Abstract

The formation and the development of libraries, established by the Ostrog Kyril-Mefodiy church fraternity in 1865–1929 are examined. Types and the functional purpose of libraries are determined. The ways of replenishment of library funds are opened; their structure and store are analyzed. The contribution of well-known figures of Russian Empire in the increase of library funds is noted. The role of Ostrog fraternity libraries in emission of science, culture and education in Volyn is cleared up.
