Introduction: Health-care organizations strive to deliver optimal health-care services. Health-care providers (HCPs) play a major role in achieving these goals and demands. However, certain obstacles often get in the way, such as a noncollaborative workplace. Aim: The aim of the study was to investigate the level of interprofessional collaboration among HCPs working in public hospitals. We assessed multidisciplinary collaboration in terms of partnership, cooperation, and coordination. Methods: A descriptive correlational approach was used to assess the perception of interprofessional collaboration among health-care professionals working in three public hospitals in the Hail region, Saudi Arabia. Hospitals were selected as they provide general health care for the public with capacities ranging between 200 and 400 beds. The participants included physicians, nurses, laboratory technicians, nutritionists, pharmacists, physical therapists, and social workers. Data collection was conducted between September 2022 and November 2022. Results: The surveyed HCPs scored a mean of 3.85 in the partnership, 3.85 in the cooperation, and 3.76 in the coordination subscales, respectively. Conclusion: Interprofessional collaboration among HCPs seems to be at acceptable levels in terms of partnership, cooperation, and coordination. Collaboration among HCPs is imperative for more effective health-care service delivery and for patients’ safety.
