Abstract

The processes of liberalization and deregulation of the postal market have caused the appearance of alternative operators on the market (next to the incumbents - former monopolists). In the new market conditions, incumbents have focused on expanding the service network of letters and parcels. Alternative operators have concentrated mainly on the handling of the packs. This scenario leads to a weakening of competition on the letter post market.
