Abstract

When you are an academic, is tweeting a personal or a professional practice? How do you juggle between the different personas that you embody on Twitter: the Academic, the Intellectual, the Influencer/Journalist, the Activist or even the Communicator? This article aims to examine the interests and limitations of this new media based on a reflection and analysis of the experience built up over a number of years in promoting and disseminating research on social networks.
