But this plan could not succeed. Meanwhile, many wounded began to come Istanbul and the Gallipoli peninsula. The existing hospitals were inadequate. It went into service on the Red Crescent hospitals. Although short after its establishment the organisation was put to test by the Balkan Wars the Empire entered and proved to be very efficient at helping the country and nation. The organisation grew strong with the support of the nation, the reason of this success could be that the people saw the organisation a way to pay their dept to the country. In this study, during the Balkan Wars Red Crescent hospitals served by the Dardanelles and Gallipoli are discussed.
