Relevance. This article examines the issue of the psychological health of a teenager in connection with the impact on him of the Unified State Exam – final certification conducted in the eleventh grade. The main aspects of the exam that have an impact on the adolescent state are considered. The main psychological experiences that are characteristic of adolescent applicants during the examination period are reflected. The research methods in this article are the analysis, description and survey of 1-2 year students, that is, those who passed the Unified State Exam not so long ago. Results. It is established that the pressure of teachers is almost twice as high as the parent’s. Failure in the exam is perceived as the end of life. Every year the exam is changed, but the pressure increases. The authors come to the conclusion that schools need a psychological help service for teenagers, especially high school students, it is necessary to teach children in practice how to effectively self-help during stress.
