Within the dense population and urbanization, natural areas in the cities are becoming more valuable as places where the recreation needs are met. Natural parks with visual value along with vegetation and wildlife also have an important place among natural areas. The aim of this study is to determine the recreation potential of the Bentler Natural Park in the Belgrad Forest, which has a variety of recreational opportunities such as picnics, hiking, cycling and nature photography. For this purpose, the Gülez Method which is often preferred in determining the recreation potential of forests was used. This method determines the recreation potential of the area by evaluating five elements: landscape value, climate value, accessibility, recreational convenience and negative factors in the recreation area. According to this; the recreation potential of Bentler Natural Park was evaluated and the recreation potential was determined to be 77% (very high). Various proposals have been made to increase the recreation potential by reducing negative factors in Bentler Natural Park by survey and user reviews.
