Abstract

Abstract - The city of Sarajevo recently hosted the Seventh International Conference of the Balkan Association of Roman law and Roman Legal Tradition «Societas pro Iure Romano» («SIR.»). The title of the event was ‘Provinciae’, a multi-layered and versatile theme, which was well grasped by more than forty participants. The contributions, grouped in three thematic areas – private law, public law and Roman civilization – allowed us to deepen our socio-legal knowledge of many provincial realities.
