THE RESOCIALIZATION POTENTIAL OF GROUP METHODS USED IN PROBATION CENTERS

Abstract

The aim of the article is to discuss the importance of using the group method in the functioning of probation centers. The group work method is a certain challenge for probation officers, but it is also associatedwith a number of benefits for their educational and social rehabilitation activities. I am trying to present the organizational and methodical effort related to the implemented educational and social rehabilitation interactionsthrough a group in probation centers. The article is theoretical and consists an analysis of the available literature on the subject in the context of selected opportunities and challenges faced by probation officers working in probation centers.
