Abstract
There are practical difficulties in the implementation of teacher education courses, mainly manifested as teachers misinterpreting the concept of practical courses, attempting to universalize and publicize practical knowledge, and separating the correlation between practical and theoretical knowledge. As an innovative teaching method, educational drama has demonstrated unique practical value in the field of teacher training. The trainees can use educational drama to test the learning effectiveness of educational theories, liberate physical constraints, alleviate role difficulties, and compensate for the lack of "otherness". Educational drama is integrated into teacher education curriculum in two forms: curriculum and methods, involving the key points such as the interdisciplinary characteristics of educational drama; the multisubject collaborative creation of course cases; the implementation of drama teaching method; the integration of drama into subject teaching methods. Taking the practical achievements of integrating educational drama into teacher education curriculum, "Fundamentals of Education", as an example, teachers have effectively enhanced students' participation, perception, and presentation in curriculum teaching through the application of educational drama. The integration of educational drama into teacher education curriculum can help solve the problem of insufficient practicality, that can alleviate the difficulties of educational practice.
