The article analyzes the problems of space connotative component in the structure of the meaning of the word, ambiguous understanding connotations as linguistic phenomena and difficulties when attempting classification connotative vocabulary. Traditionally, the connotation is treated as a set of emotional, evaluative, expressive and stylistic components. Obviously, there are many points of view on connotation, its structure, the problem of delimitation of its components due to lack not only psychological, but also the linguistic theory of emotional speech. The difficulty of distinguishing emotional, expressive and evaluative components is .that they are closely interrelated. On the one hand, the assessment of a person of an object or phenomenon associated with emotional distress, on the other hand, there is a close relationship emotional assessment. Thus, the diversity of views on the connotation cause ambiguity understood in the meaning of the word, hence the need for a deeper theoretical study as an aspect of linguistics.
